An Ecological Tone Poem

Cary Belling

Orchestral tone poem inspired by a walk on the Arroyo Seco Trail beneath the historic Colorado Street Bridge in Pasadena, CA. Composed in three contiguous sections, the piece depicts the view from the nature trail, the heavy impact of the bridges construction, and the hope for a better balance between nature and technology.
